The Story of a Samurai
A long time ago - I'm talking about years - I watched "Zatoichi". It's a very famous samurai film, directed by the great Takeshi Kitano. The film tells the saga of Zatoichi, a blind samurai that goes to a feudo and start killing all the vilans from there.
I don´t remember quite exactly why he is there killing the villans. I remeber it´s like a Rambo thing, when Rambo - after returning from war - goes to a city simply to eat and take a nap, then the sheriff from the place stars pissing him off, making Rambo decide to explode the hole city. Besides the terrible comparason, Zatoichi is there, only passing by, then the vilans start to mess with him. As he's a true samurai, he stars killing everybody.
Then, a guy named Hattori - another kicking as samurai - is hired to go there and kill Zatoichi. Hattori exposes the dificult that samurais get that time, instead of serving one only emperor of some feudo, they used to get hired for "dirt jobs". And Hattori accepts only because he needs the money to treat his wife, that's very sick.
I found the hole film amazing: the gestures, the story line, the clothes, everything. Its fun and also amazing. After watching, it inspired me to do this piece.
