Jack-o-Lanterns and Microwave Fridges (2019)

This was a project for my Space, Form, Process class in Fall 2019 that was meant to introduce us to 3D modeling, something that I had never done before.

For this project we had to combine two different objects: one that we liked and one that we disliked. I chose the mini microwave-fridge for something that I disliked and a jack-o-lantern as something that I liked.
For the object that we liked, we then had to add traits from the object that we disliked to make it "uglier". The traits I chose to give the jack-o-lantern from the microwave-fridge was the grayscale color, square shape, and lack of a cute face.
We then had to do the opposite for the object we disliked. Here I played around with giving the microwave-fridge color, rounded edges, a cute face, and also a hollowed out space that could serve as additional storage.
