Carbona Typeface

Having a future to look forward to is most likely our biggest incentive for action. Knowing that tomorrow will come is the encouragement we depend on to decide how we shall act today. That thought is also among the best catalysts for creativity. Our future and our creations are both born out of the act of imagining. That’s what we try to exercise with typography.

The way in which we do everything in our lives, including how we mediate our relationships, is continuously changed by technological advancements. Our motif for doing those things, on the other hand, does not change that much. Our impulses remains pretty much the same. That’s kinda like typography. As much as we try to imagine some kind of typography of the future, and think of all types of gimmicks for it, its structure shouldn’t change much over the years.

That doesn’t stop us, however, of trying and living a little bit on the days to come. The speed with which technology takes over our routines comes to a point when it gets almost scary. And it’s not getting any slower. From the dozens of cryptocurrencies to the flow of high-end data through 5G, the horizon for each and every habit of ours, and every choice or task we accomplish will go through some ultra-advanced-computer somewhere we don’t even know – maybe another planet.

We introduce you Carbona, the typeface we designed to play with our perceptions of the future. The font is designed to navigate through every digital context. It is optimized for coding languages, is packed with cryptocurrencies symbols, advanced features for interface usage and more.

Carbona, a typeface made for the future.
