The Type Directors Club of New York, the world’s leading typography organization, elects annually the TDC Ascenders: 35 typographers, lettering artists, and type designers age 35 and under. Ascenders is the world’s premier portfolio-based competition dedicated to type in all its versatile forms, and the inspiring designers — individuals or duos — who are elevating the medium.
In the year 2023, I had the privilege of being one of those chosen for this world-class selection. I feel very grateful to the Plau team and all the creative partners I was able to collaborate with on some of these projects.
Below, the selection I submit to TDC with the six canvases of the six best works I created and collaborated on in my career so far.
O Type Directors Club de Nova York, a principal organização de tipografia do mundo, elege anualmente os TDC Ascenders: 35 tipógrafos, artistas de lettering e designers de tipos com idade igual ou inferior a 35 anos. Ascenders é a principal competição mundial baseada em portfólio dedicada à tipografia, em todas as suas formas, que premia designers inspiradores - individuais ou duplas - que estão elevando a média.
No ano de 2023, tive o privilégio de ser um dos escolhidos para esta seleção global. Me sinto muito grato à equipe Plau e a todos os parceiros criativos com quem pude colaborar em alguns desses projetos.
