Women who use hair relaxers as a means to make their hair manageable are more at risk of developing Hair Straightener Cancer. It is caused by the formaldehyde present in these products. Several researches have been conducted regarding this claim, and it was seen that these women had increasing chances of developing ovarian cancer and others. As a result, thousands of lawsuits came forward claiming that they had cancer after the use of these products.
