It is basically a cup, whether you drink tea, coffee, milk or juice or anything, you can use it for all. Whether the drink is cold or hot it doesn't matter cause the main purpose of designing this cup is to give you a reduced effect of the temperature of the drink inside so that you can pick the cup up without worrying about the hotness or coldness inside.

 

One more thing which is to be considered here is that this cup does not have a handle to hold the cup unlike the typical tea or coffee cup, the reason for this will be shown below.

The Problem with the cup with handle is that it gets pulled in one direction as the center of gravity of the cup is at the middle of the cup and the handle is in the side so you have to put a sufficient amount of pressure in one side to keep the cup straight. 

That is where this cup helps because you have to lift this cup up by holding the outer layer and as the outer layer is made without maintaining a contact with inner layer so you will not feel the exact temperature of the drink inside and you will not feel uncomfortable. 

The outer layer of the cup is curvy that is the diameter of the outer layer is reduced from top to bottom along with a curve so that when you pick it up it will not fall down easily from the hand as the surface above your finger will be big in diameter.

This is the sectional view of the cup. You can see it as if it is cut right at the middle. As you can see it is made in such a way that the inner layer is not in contact with the outer layer and that is the reason behind the heat resistance. The double layer design of this cup also make it a unique and adds in to the aesthetics.

Whether it is a cup of hot black tea or a cup of milk or an ice chilled orange juice you can have them all with is cup.
