Digging into the bio and portfolio of two great designers, Javier Mariscal (Spain) and Noa Raviv (Israel), I decided to create a product which combines their styles. As a reference point, I chosed this two creations of them: Julián by Javier Mariscal (Left); and Hard Copy by Noa Raviv (Right).
Pictures downloaded from mariscal.com and noaraviv.com, designers' official websites.
From concept to ideation and final proposal: raw sketchbook of the whole design process, starting from the left, where I extracted the keypoints of each designer's style and turned them into symbols to apply later.
From 2D to 3D: time to model the idea to check it. Also to add it realism, and prepare the files for the 3D printed model. Modeled in T-Splines for Rhino 5.
Final presentation: baking some shots and waiting for the 3D printer to finish, to apply some paint coats and stick each part.
The core: final presentation board with every concept applied in the project explained.
Thanks for digging this deep into my project, hope you liked it! Let me know what do you think about below :).
