The Hopewell Portrait Project

One Saturday in November, I set up in front of the Hopewell Public Library with my camera. While I announced to the community that I would be there, my primary goal was to photograph strangers passing by. The idea was to capture some of the diverse faces in our little Virginia town. Here are the resulting 45 portraits taken that day. What do you see?
This project was made possible by a generous grant from the Hopewell Downtown Partnership and CultureWorks Richmond.
