From the research done and information gathered, it can be said that prosthetic have been used since the early civilizations and era before that. The idea remains the same, only the technology and design develops with time. It can be clearly seen that with passage of time, prosthetic have developed from being just an addition to a missing body part to being functional at the same time.
Earlier, only the wealthy could afford the prosthetic but now they are available for all classes of people.
Initially, amputations’ purpose was to complete the body by adding in the place of a missing body part, but now, they have become highly functional with advanced technology.
