Mogwai Care Quick Guide
This was another school project of mine. We had to make an information or how to guide for a product or animal. I chose the Mogwai for my love of the 80's and the movies.
My overall design and layout inspiration came from Swissair. The goal was to have a minimal and vintage look to the piece. I wanted it to feel like the 80's as well.
I took all my own photos for this project and applied texture, erased hard edges, and lastly made them all greyscale. All done in photoshop.
The Mogwai featured on the front and the first inside page was created by using the pen tool in Illustrator. I traced from an existing image by Galeria Plakatu. I traced the image and made a silhouette version from it and changed the feet a bit. Then on the inside of the page I created hands to peek over the bar.
All the copy shown in this booklet is original and solely created by me with help from the movie of course. The Creature Insurance logo was also created by me and I put it in a shield to give it that insurance presence. The alien creature was created by use of the pen tool and shapes in Illustrator.
