The Flextension foundation is developing an orthopedic prosthesis for patiënts suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Duchenne is an inheritable condition which only occurs on men. This disease damages the muscles of the patiënts to the magnitude of losing the ability to use the arms.
This prosthesis is used for treatment in an early stadium of the disease, partially taking over the function of the muscles, causing the patiënt to remain using his arms.
The corporate identity has a gadget-appearance and is still maintaining it's medical appearance.
