Reverie Sleep Store Branding

Logotype for Reverie, a sleep store and mindfulness centre in NY. Meaning daydream in French, the name is both a literal description of what the store provides and an encouragement of practice once in the store.
 
Curves were accentuated to evoke the feeling of drifting off, while the dot of the eye was designed to evoke the night sky, the dot is higher than expected on the stem to represent focusing on one’s higher self during mindfulness.
 
The logo mark takes the most distinguishing features of the logo and creates a simplistic scene of a night sky over calm waters.
