EPISODE 7 RETROSPECTIVE
In episode 7 my official role was that of lighting. While I was in charge of lighting I still held the majority of directing responsibility for this episode.
This shot from the opening scene was effectively gave the impression of a darkened bedroom in the morning. Low lighting was a challenge in earlier episodes.
This close-up was lit with high key and fill, giving a natural daytime look to our subject.
While lighting outdoors had previously given our team consistent trouble with overexposure, this time the cloudy blue sky can be seen in the background of our low-angel shots during a scene preparing monster-capturing trap.
