Viva Brasil is a festival that takes place in Amsterdam during the month of july.
The last edition of the festival took place 10 years ago with big success. Redondo Musica decided to remake the festival and asked for a new corporative identity that expressed happyness, dance, and Brasil.

 

We aimed for a dynamic identity that would always keep the original lettering (name of the festival), but that would play with the triangles to express a certain mood, a message or just a visual game.
The handmade imperfect shapes and the triangles are typical element from brasilian aesthetic culture. Each color contains also a small dotted pattern, it's a detail to give some texture, life and a little surprise to the observer.

 

The project was done under the tutory of Albert Hennipman at De Ruimte Ontwerpers studio, Utrecht, The Netherlands.
