Their theme for next year is 'Herleef' meaning 'Revive', because then they will be 70 years old and will play music from their first edition. They also hope that normal concerts can take place again and that things 'Revive' again.

The Dutch word 'Herleef' means 'revive' as well as 'relive' or 'brought back to life'. In the context of the theme, I had to think of the phoenix, the mythological bird that rises from its own ashes. That's how I got the idea to depict an instrument with phoenix wings. I chose the violin because it is often associated with classical music and with orchestral life due to its striking presence in the front of the orchestra pit. 

In the past I was a violinist with a number of orchestras, so it was nice incorporating my own passion for playing the violin into the design. This is my first poster design, so I'm curious what you think of them. You can let me know below.😊
