These are two examples of some banner ads that I animated for an agency in New York. The end client was a hip hop artist that was releasing an album. The idea was to use the mosaic effect to make the artist images look like paintings coming into frame.

There were some challenges with the text animations and getting the mosaic to animate in on a natural looking gradient. Some of these problems were fixed utilizing gradients and masks. It was an interesting project and a great learning experience.
