This painting was for Ross Draws monthly art challenge. The theme for November 2021 was Fairy Tales Reimagined. I chose The Princess & The Pea. When I heard the story I always wondered why the princess didn't, instead of sleeping on the bed miserable all night, get up and investigate what was making her uncomfortable! This painting reflects that idea.
