Silent Paper-Cutting
Paper-cutting as an art carrier of traditional culture, with the passing of each inheritor, the art of paper cutting is gradually disappearing; at the same time, as a traditional folk custom, paper cutting has gradually faded out of our daily life. For such a situation, we try to present the simple and profound folk wisdom behind the paper-cut culture in the way of oral statement by the inheritors. Through many personal interviews and shooting records, each inheritor's life track, life status, artistic spirit and representative works are integrated into the book.
For future readers, this is a real and warm folk art "file", which extends to book binding design. At the same time, the disappearance of the folk custom of paper-cut reflects the continuous change of our current lifestyle.
