Illustration made for an Open Democracy report about the counterproduction of strict military habits (which were allocated to positions in the Brazilian environmental enforcement agency) in relation to fighting environmental crimes and disasters
The illustrated scene was based on a report of military personnel refusing to attend a fire incident because it happened at a time when they had volleyball practice scheduled
I had as a key reference an emblematic photo, from the period of the great fires in California, of a man playing golf with the forest burning in the background
