First attemplt, wasn't satified with the graininess in the clouds
I upped the ante. Got a new background and some gradients instead, things just worked out..
Made in Gimp. Orange haze is from a waves wallpaper, fish symbol is actually a character in a creative commons font I got at fontspaces.com (it was one of those fonts that has icons instead of letters). Applied paintbrush, shading, and my favorite tool: the dodge/burn tool to make it hot. Added supernova and lens flare filters.
