Inktober 2018
Inktober is a very popular art challenge. The idea is to encourage the daily practice of drawing, and the challenge consists of, during the month of October, posting one drawing per day. Originally only ink drawings were allowed, but now many participate with digital drawings as well.

in 2018, I decided to make unpretentiously, just in my notebook, a story following an adventurous little girl. On each Inktober day she would encounter magical creatures and gather all the things that fairies stole from her backpack on the second day of the challenge. The drawings were organized within the hashtag #LiraQuest on Instagram.
The girl, initially unnamed, was named Lira by the people who followed the project. The same people also decided on her hair color and also her mascot. In the end, Lira became a recurring character of mine, which I also intend to feature in other stories and universes!
