La recherche de l’absolu est un principe qui guide la publicité depuis des années : les plus beaux modèles, les plus belles photos, les plus beaux décors, où tout est savamment orchestré de façon à créer un spectacle digne des plus grands metteurs en scène. Cette série montre certains travers de la publicité en prenant le parti de lever le voile sur les supercheries et astuces tragiquement succulentes parfois présentes dans la publicité culinaire. Dans cette série, le spectateur devient à son tour complice du publicitaire, s’il décide de ne pas déchirer le rideau et dénoncer ce qu’il voit.
BITTER TRUTH
The search for the absolute has been a guiding principle in advertising for years: the most beautiful models, the most beautiful photos, the most beautiful settings, where everything is skilfully orchestrated to create a spectacle worthy of the greatest directors. This series shows some of the shortcomings of advertising by lifting the veil on deceptions and tragically succulent tricks sometimes present in culinary advertising. In this series, the spectator becomes in turn an accomplice of the advertiser, if he decides not to tear the curtain and denounce what he sees.
