On a road trip from Italy to Sweden, we made a fortunate stop in the beautiful city of Naumburg, in Saxony-Anhalt,Germany. The city boasts a charming, well-preserved city center, a wonderful cathedral (UNESCO heritage), the childhood house of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche (now a museum and research center), and a statue dedicated to the philosopher.
The cathedral also hosts the statue of margravine Uta von Ballenstedt, which is thought to have inspired Wlat Disney's Evil Queen In Snow White
