Design Funny is a series of works about the creation of a very special Egyptian hippopotamus. He loves kneading baguettes and runs his very own Luxor Boulangerie - and the best thing about him is that he is made of wood.
The label for the Luxor Boulangerie features everything you would expect out of bakery signage, but with a twist. The hippo's face and baguette twisted letters, as well as the aged paper make it clear this isn't just any bakery he runs.
The publication shows the process of the hippo's creation, and teaches Egyptian hieroglyphs to the reader that are related to the project.
