These artworks are based on the concept of "Reverence" they were created as part of a small challenge I did to myself, I wanted to draw a fist with symbols in it.

It was a success and then I expanded it towards some different designs, for example this being called "The Revered", in my head, they are both symbols for some sort of cult, and the being is a False God who demands sacrifices.

While the being itself is clean, the fist below represents the nature of the creature, filled with scars and eyes, marks of it's tyrannical nature, and perhaps omens of a violent stance it may take if challenged, the scars could be mementos from the past, reminding the viewer that once it was challenged, and yet... it stands. 

Beneath, a very simple artwork of a similar and yet slightly different creature, it's in a red, almost pinkish river, and it raises it's hand in demand of something.
