Tiny Tastebuds & Co. Brand Campaign

Tiny Tastebuds & Co.
This is a concept project for class where we were given an email prompt from a fake client wanting branding for a business. Tiny Tastebuds & Co. is an educational tool for moms to support them in applying the Montessori philosophy in the kitchen and to teach their children how to cook in a safe and fun way.

Sketches
Drafts
The three to four logo drafts that we created were based on the best of each persons sketches above. Our goal was to create something that was fun but did not fall into the norms of other businesses that are designed for children. In the end, according to the focus group responses and peer critique, we decided that the most successful version was the center logo on the second art board.
Final Logo
The color palette was chosen because we needed to incorporate the soft tones for the parents and children. The three primary colors Chop, Knead, and Stir provide a basis for the brand and provide enough contrast between them to make the whole brand unified. The secondary color, Rinse, is a supplementary color used in the icons and collateral. The typefaces were chosen to showcase the clean and simple aspect of the brand through Filson Pro regular, regular italic, and book.
Identity Package
The identity package shows the use of some of the elements such as main logo, colors, icons, and pattern. Because the designs are simple the concept can be clearly seen. The design elements such as the organic orange shape are pulled from the icons which serves as a decorative element that ties directly, yet subtly, to the logo.
Social Media
The Tiny Tastebuds website is the central hub for the company. It is where consumers go to order their boxes, read blog posts, and purchase Tiny Tastebuds gear. The Instagram material shows an example of the companies main Instagram page. This page serves to inform the community about events, recipe instructions, and new merchandise that might arise.
Collateral
The collateral items include t-shirts for both the parent and child as well as a fun apron that can be worn while cooking up the provided recipes. In addition, they have a variety of stickers for multiple purposes, a recipe instruction template, and the box that everything is shipped in.
