ETCH Salon is a high-energy, high-end hair salon located in Scottsdale, AZ. They had a 10 year old existing site that needed a complete redesign. 

During the discovery meeting, the client expressed the point of the salon being very busy that buzzed with energy. I wanted to create a concept that reflected the high energy and show the passionate enthusiasm found in every staff member. This was my first opportunity as director of photography and editor of the looping background video seen on the homepage.

A simple website design that is very easy to use yet techincally complex to bring a level of sophistication.

We also shot the interior of the salon using a motion blur as an affect to capture that high energy during busy hours.

The salon employs more than 30 stylists, estheticians, and nail techs. We spent three days shooting portraits for almost all of them. See more at http://www.etchsalon.com
