Wired Gathering: Branding History

The Logo + Logotype from 2020 - present.
Teaser poster for the October 2020 event.

The Beginning.
Wired Gathering started in 2014 with it's logotype and the year of the event.
Along with the key design are the social media postings and announcements.

Year 2015 became a bigger event for Wired Gathering.
We revamp the logo by using the acronym as the main logotype/icon
while sticking with the original "bright orange" color.

But for the main event, we decided to go with a simplified version of the logo,
only using the main letter "W" with the year of the event.

The key design for Wired Gathering 2015 still kept the "bright orange" color while incorporating it with the title of the theme for that year.

Wired Invasion, an event campaign for Wired Gathering 2015.
The event branding for this kept the key elements consistent with the overall branding of Wired Gathering, such as the color and type -- while including a striking visual cue (the flag) to support the cause of the event.

Along side the main event branding for Wired Invasion includes various posters
of the pre-events leading up to the big day.

A major shift in design occurred in Year 2016.
It was this year where we took a bit of a change of route from the previous design looks of the themed Wired Gathering -- in terms of color, key visual cue, and texture; while slightly bringing the main brand of Wired Gathering simpler and more precise.

For 2016, we introduce the theme of the event with a striking new color,
visual cue, and texture.

Growing in it's brand identity in Year 2017.
For this year, Wired Gathering seemed to find a stronger and consistent look in all of its visual elements and assets.

Year 2017 Main Event Poster -- involves the "glitch" effect while maintaining the sans type style for the headings + details of the designs -- keeping with Wired Gathering's branding.

Typographic posters are also created to reflect and communicate further
Wired Gathering's brand identity.
