I was given the opportunity create the official lyric video for Saint Kylo's "Paid For" track. I knew that the catchy feel of the song would work best with bold, expressive type accompanied with a playful script typeface, drawing inspiration from retro signage in Las Vegas.
The client chose the teal and orange color palette, with illustrations of Vegas, lights, playing cards, and banknotes. To add a sense of edginess and create a more cohesive look, a subtle grain and grunge texture were added.
