The whole project was created using Cinema 4D, Redshift and Arnold renderer.

It took me 2 months to figure out how to create these scenes.
A lot of trial and error was involved, but I finally ended my suffering by using

the "volume object" in Arnold.

Frames in a mockup                                                                                               Frames in the final
One of the main challenges was the rendering complexity. One Full HD frame took over an hour to render. Since I don't have the resources nor time to realize a project of such scale, I had to either alter the visuals (which, after extensive testing, didn't meet my expectations) or somehow reduce the render time. I chose the second option.

After weeks of brainstorming and numerous mental breakdowns, an idea finally emerged. I would render the images at 360p and use AI to upscale them to Full HD. Simple, right? Not really... Manually feeding a website frame by frame when you need to convert hundreds and hundreds
of them ended up taking as much time as just rendering the frames in Full HD. The problem
was solved by programming a bot to perform this action automatically for me.
Modern problems require modern solutions...
