CAMP INC. is an annual short getaway held by Thinking*Room as an internal company event. Taking inspiration from summer camps and scouts, CAMP INC. is all about breathing out the city culture and breathing in good ol’ green nature.

CAMP INC. explores different kinds of activities. From creative workshops, meditation classes, competitive gaming to the art of doing nothing, the camp tells a new message every year to the T*roops (as we call the attendees specifically for the event) and Rangers (the committee running the event). This year’s CAMP INC. is called Out-Bond, whose message is to reconnect the bond between T*roops and the outdoors after the Work From Home policy for some time. Without much internet connection but plenty of gardens to explore, the 3-day getaway rekindles T*roops with some fresh air.

The T*roops are prepared with an activity book that introduces them to the site, Out-Bond as an event, the daily rundown, a scout’s guide, activities they can do on the book, around the site, and what they can do in their free time. The activity book is a part of the T*roop’s kit that contains a whistle, a knot, a pencil, a pencil case, and a T*roop’s identification badge. This identification badge is color-coded to define the teams they’re assigned to when team activities begin.

Out-Bond events cater to our reconnection to all of our office members and nature. This is reflected in the Social Bond Inc. event, where T*roops get to know competitively get to know each other. T*roops also take a tour around the farm site and forest, making a final stop at the gardens to harvest for the Cook Inc. Farm-To-Plate cooking competition. In setup games and activities, T*roops are given patches to collect for their personal use.

At the end of the day, Out-Bond’s focus is not on competing in nature’s land but on reminding us that there are fun, refreshed connections to make when there’s not much internet connection.
