Look On Down From The Bridge - Mazzy Star

I based this collage on the song "Look on Down From the Bridge" by Mazzy Star. The most prominent lyrical imagery I pulled from the song is "Look on down from the bridge/ It's still raining, up here." I used the Bridge from Monet's painting Japanese Footbridge and the Water Lily Pool because his Waterlily Pond series contains some of my favorite artwork of all time. I touched on the rain lyric by using a rainy window pane for the background of the composition, blending in a pair of closed eyes to bring in the part of the song where she says "And close my eyes real tight". Finally, I put the Earth into the image to symbolize the part where she says, "Everybody seems so far away from me."
