About:
In 2016, Shontay Lundy created Black Girl Sunscreen, a 30 SPF lotion formulated for women of color. Made with melanated skin in mind, BGS dries completely clear and protects melanin without the white-cast.
Today, BGS is making moves! From hitting the shelves of Target and Ulta to global expansion. The goal of BGS is to start the conversation globally around sun safety to educate and protect melanin beauties worldwide. Now with three products, we’re saying Black does crack and it’s in our power to protect it.
Idea/Execution:
I decided to do a brochure about this brand because I realized there wasn't one in existence. The main design aesthetic of the brochure is suppose to be bold and modern while using shades of brown to mirror the different shades of black women. I also added imagery to create an engaging visual experience for my viewers.
High quality photographs that show the brand's products in real life settings, that allow customers to envision themselves using these items. I also added an About page, Key Facts and Testimonials to make sure this was an informative piece.
