ALDI - THE PRODUCT GENDER STRIKE

In many countries the gender difference is not only in our society, 
this distinction is present even in our language. (LA Manzana /EL Tomate/ 
LA fresa/ El Limón/ LA Sandía/ EL kiwi.) That means that our products, 
the heart of our business, have gender.


At Aldi, as a brand committed to the values of our current society, 
we launched “The Product Gender Strike”. Our products feminine gender will be added to the 8M strike (8 of march)in favor of the gender equality. 
Taking them to the march of women for equality.

"ALDI´S LIMES JOIN TEH STRIKE.
Because at Aldi we support the fight for gender equality, 
we remove female gender products from our stores so they can be here with you."


We will place a circuit of opis and mupis along the route of the 
feminist march, showing our support.


We design special merchandising with support messages.


At Aldi we support gender equality. That's why on Women's Day, we remove our feminine gender products from everywhere. We remove them from our stores, our website, our recipes and our brochures.
