Broadly inspired by the combat arenas of MK, like the infamous "The Pit", Kintaro is as sharp and as angular as low-res renderings of these from our youth. Built for headlines, is a graphic, condensed serif that supports extended Latin and Cyrillic. At first glance the font family appears sharp and spiky, however it does have a soft side. With its mix of soft curves and abrupt angles, Kintaro aims to stand out in a crowded genre of didones and slabs. The exaggerated serifs mixed with the smooth rounds create eye catching forms within the type family.
