One of my client, Pelicula Media Texas USA, asked me to composite different assets and create a video based on the brief, guideline and storyboard they provided. Since it was for a soap company portraying their product "Melting Wax", I decided to add a natural touch in video by giving bouncy and liquid animation. The turned out great and their promotion period was a huge success. I also made a soap ad afterwards.

Even though this project looked fairly simple, their were some tricky elements to it. I needed to composite the video of a wax melting using rotoscoping and to adjust the speed in after effects using time remapping because melting wax video was 3 minutes long and I needed to make ad upto 10 seconds. However, as seen in the video that behind the background is the solid rainbow background, so rotoscope left the sides of the wax and black placstic base. As a result, I had to mask the video and each falling wax cube so that it blends perfectly with the video. This process alone took 8 hours. It was the only tricky problem I faced. I could also import the video in photoshop and mask the required things each frame and then import the video.

Other things went smoothly. So process was like this:

Brief -> Storyboard -> Masking -> Block Animatoin -> Motion Graphics -> Compositing
