In conjunction with classmates, an inspiration board was created to help answer some basic questions such as who the consumer might be, what their needs are, and how they customize their posessions.
Rea'rain'ge is a customizable rainproof pack cover for young hikers. Siliconized nylon repels water and the cover cinches over a variety of pack sizes. Rea'rain'ge protects backpacks and their contents from rain, gets kids involved in taking care of their gear, boosts spirits in less-than-ideal weather, and provides a creative activity for down time during camping.
Velcro-backed facial features can be arranged on the grid of clear velcro dots that cover the outside of the pack cover. A seperated zipper pouch provides a home for the foam features when they are not in use.
When the sun comes out, Rea'rain'ge packs down into an attached pouch. Small and lightweight, it takes up minimal space in the backpack.
