Created this little Super Mario Bros emblem for the Hero Complex Gallery show Gaming in the Gallery.
I chose Mario because it is such a fundamental icon in the videogame culture and I think it marks the statr of a new era in the industry. Mario is also such an enduring icon well outside the videogaming community.
Decided to go with this style because I wanted to create something with a vintage label feel.
