As I sipped my coffee on a grey- clouded gloomy day, I watched every day, people, fleeing the beautiful music of the rain. The rhythm of the rain inspired me to bring small burst of color back to the day- and perhaps a bit of romance as well.

Sitting in the library on a bright blue sunny day, I designed this as I daydreamed about daring to be different and standing out.

I really like the complexity and intricacy usually found in bridal henna designs, but at the same time I also really enjoyed the simplicity of geometric shapes. In this design I tried to combine and  exhibit both styles in such a way that one could see both styles together or apart.

Inspired by dark, delicate, magical, and mysterious forests described in fictional novels, I attempted to create henna design that was equally mystifying and perplexing. A glimpse in which the only thing that is clear to the world is what is clear, but to me everything that is a blur is clear.

#loveletter is not just a love letter, it is many different love letters, from many different people and from many different perspectives. I was inspired by old school love, before there was any kind of Social Media, or internet."

Inspired by the weird and whimsical story of Alice in Wonderland, and the upcoming holidays, I fashioned a design blending the two, keeping things simply complicated and different.

New Year, New Background. Welcoming the new year I  design on a book page that had fallen out of an old story book, that I had found. I blended in the colors on the design by using different colored highlighters layered on top of one another.

As I've been able to gain and learn from my sketching and designing skills, I've started thinking about how to start shaping and molding the silhouette of my designs.
