A school assignment for a design course where we had to design an app for anything we'd like, as long as the concept is somewhat original. I decided to take one of my favorite animals and create an app for it. People can use the app in a clinic for sick or injured penguins and can identify the individual animals using augmented reality. Then, the visitor can choose to donate a certain amount or adopt the bird for a set amount each month. The visitor can then stay up-to-date using the app, where each penguin has a profile and a timeline with everything that happens to it. This way, the donators can see where their money is going and they will really feel connected to the animal.
