This is a school assignment where I had to design a book for the Dutch store Hema. The booklet is supposed to be simple and clean but still interesting for children. The old Dutch nursery rhymes that are known by every Dutch child.
I gave the book a childish and cheerful feeling with hand drawn patterns and illustrations.
The colours give it a cheerful feeling and of course it fits the dutch theme. I created a logo at every title of a nursery rhyme so it matches the real logo by letting it fit with the messy and childisch drawings.
