Lingua Learning Co. is a concept I developed for a brand that creates products aimed at teaching children foreign languages.
The "Eat & Learn" range is a series of educational plates that contain the names of popular fruit and vegetables in Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French and of course English! Although the plates are applicable to any child from any country in the world, being an Australian I decided it was important for English to be included with the other languages. This is so that Australian children could identify the fruit and vegetables themselves without having to ask assistance from their family and thus resulting in a more educational experience during the most important time of the day... Mealtime!
Ideally, after repetitive use, children will become familiar with all the different names for their favourite fruit and vegetables. The first prototypes of the plates were a great success. My young friend Ezekiel genuinely had lots of fun identifying the different fruit and vegetables.
