The Director of Youth Outreached connected with me to produce highly visible printed elements and mobile friendly UX web design for teens, schools, advisors, and grants that would represent YO's diverse services and offerings.
Past designers presented designs with troubled, strung out, and un-happy teenagers. The director was adamant that we represent the positive attitudes and outcomes of the amazing youth they interact with daily at YO. "These are happy kids, many just found themselves in un-ideal situations."
I decided use colors that are accent colors throughout their drop-in facility and illustrations that loosely represented the age and demographics they serve. My goal was to design materials that teens can relate to, admire, and take home with them or share with a friend in need.
