This "Artist's Book" is a project for a thesis which represents the revisitation of a family album.

It includes in my personal figurative interpretation, a study of the concept of landscape, archives and memories.

Enclosed within, original images from books of the 70's can be found which accompany the photographs of a French couple from their wedding day… onwards. The title "Eindruck" in German means "Impression" and it also means the first stage in the perception of nature, the most subjective view which leaves you breathless when faced with the majesty of the forms in the world around us.

Every page is bound by hand using the Buttonhole stitch binding technique.

Questo libro d’artista è un progetto di tesi che rappresenta la rivisitazione di un album di famiglia.

Racchiude secondo una mia interpretazione figurativa, uno studio sul concetto di paesaggio, archivio e memoria. 

All’interno si trovano immagini originali di libri anni 70 che accompagnano le fotografie di una coppia francese (dal matrimonio in poi).

Il titolo Eindruck, in tedesco significa “impressione” ed è identificato anche come il primo stadio della percezione della natura, cioè quello più soggettivo che porta allo stupore di fronte alla maestosità delle forme del mondo. 

Ogni pagina è rilegata a mano con la tecnica del punto festone.
