|| Plain Terrain ||
The flat lands of Terai.
|| Road Side Peda ||
Usually prepared in thick, semi-soft pieces.
The main ingredients are milk, sugar and traditional flavorings, including cardamom seeds, pistachio nuts and saffron.
You can have a snack of it if you travel to Terai Regions of Nepal, easily found in the road sides of highway.
|| Aakashe Pul Bata ||
After entering the city of Damak, the first thing that caught my eyes was the sky bridge and i wanted to see the city form up there.
Though the height of it is not so high, had some pretty sites of the city.
|| Road Side Vendors ||
I just replied i was here to attend my sisters wedding. They had pretty cool stories to share with me.
|| Comfy City Safari ||
Have herd so many things about the people of south-eastern Terai and stories form my friend and listening
to their experience and all now i am here and experiencing all the stories of them.
I was very impressed riding the city safari here, the environmental benefit and cheap way to travel.
|| Namkeen Shop ||
Stopped by some sweet shop and i almost tried everything possible to eat here and i took this shot around 6 in the morning.
Magic of Kitchen. Have to get some sweets for the wedding.
|| Stitching Life ||
It was around 7 and this corner of the the street where nothing was open.
He was there with his sewing machine, stitching cloths and when i asked him how long will he be here,
he replied 'before sun shines shines and after sun sets'.
Happy soul, stitching life.
|| Bhakka ||
Loved these steamed rice cakes served with the crushed chilies, salt & tomato paste.
Usually women belonging to the Rajbansi community were seen at the chowks with their pot of water, bucket full of rice flour,
fire lit beneath the pot and a piece of thin red cloth which consisted of the items required for making bhakkas.
They mostly sold these items in the morning and the evening as the chilly winds added up to the temptation of having a steamed and hot bhakka.
Always, waited mornings to chomp down these.
|| Grainy Colors ||
Exploring colorful market on the street of Damak and getting lost, i was so fascinated with the shops and their eye catchy display.

|| Smile Talks ||
Walking back in the street of Damak, i met many happy souls and enjoyed hearing their stories.
She sells dried fish and enjoys whole day talking to her neighbor vendors.
|| Fishy Street ||
This guy owned the oldest shop on the fish street. He was called Japali Dai and had the most generous smile but was shy to talk at first.
He had an amazing story about the dried fish and we had a super laugh about it.

|| Spectacular Eyes ||
As the street was all spectacular to walk through. I saw this little girl who was selling goggles and was very fun to talk too.
This display of specs reminds me the photo i took of Bablu dai in Attariya, Kailali.
