Moby Dick character designs
This project was part of the digital illustration module in Cork Institute of Technology during autumn 2016. I conducted these six character designs of the main characters of the novel Moby Dick: Ishmael, Queequeg, Ahab, Starbuck, Stubb and the white whale itself, Moby Dick.
I first created the characters with Illustrator, then colored them with Photoshop to add them more depth. The background photos on the illustrations above I took during a trip to Galway, Ireland.
