Nike Internship 2012

Project 1
During project 1 I was asked to come with ideas that could aid culture research. Above is a mock up a nike subsite designed to prompt consumers to post and talk about their favorite items. With options to post photos, text reviews, and video reviews, the consumer can express their opinions and connect with peers. A big gain here is that Nike could monitor site statistics and connect with the die hards very easily.
Above is a mockup of the user's dashboard.
 Project 2
During project 2 I was asked to come up with ideas for Nike Elements' summer season. Firstly, I explained the benefits of giving Nike Elements its own identity. Elements produces ACG but that is only a small section of their winter wear. I whipped up a quick logo treatment further illustrate this idea.
Above are two shoe concepts that play on aesthetics that Nike hasn't used much. I enjoy the comfortability of a boat shoe and believe it is a quintessential summer option. A longer opening for the foot and minimal design are a couple of other features I outlined.
 Project 3
In project 3 I was tasked to come up with ideas for Nike Elements' winter season. Above are options that apply to consumers who go from one warm destination to another and value dry feet more than anything. Many of their boots are heavy so I proposed an inner booty accompanied by a light composite outer for weather protection. I proposed multiple models with different soles as they do with many of their other silhouettes. Lastly, I mentioned the benefit of using the term 'Storm Fit' on the shoes to connect with their existing rain jackets.
