Epuni Youth Protection Centre approached me needing a mural to brighten up their space. The centre looks after kids who have been through rough times and they wanted to create a colourful space for them to take time out and chill. The brief was a tough one as the mural had to appeal to a broad age range and appeal to the different attitudes and characters of the range of kids in their care. I went for a piece that conveyed a vibe with a balance of beauty/nature and childhood 'bad-assery'. I also did a second mini mural in their learning centre too. It was great working to create a more inspirational space for the kids to hang out in and the feedback about the effect the mural was having really positive! :)
