"WHO AM I ? "- A Self-portrait
Trying to figure out who you are is difficult enough but in my opinion, the real challenge lays in how to portray it. My drawing teacher suggested doing a self-portrait only with things that define us. After some thought, i came to the realization that material things don't define me but the people that surround me do. With this project, I tried to show this kind of abstract influences figuratively. This was accomplished by turning those people into a jacket, a second skin, that is always there to protect me from everything no matter what.
