The NC Rural Center’s mission is to develop, promote, and implement sound economic strategies to improve the quality of life of rural North Carolinians. Every year, they host the Rural Day conference. Conference connects the Rural Center and hundreds of advocates with citizens from across North Carolina to educate them about the issues facing NC's rural communities, allows them to engage with leaders about solutions to help all citizens flourish, and celebrate all that makes rural North Carolina strong. 

The design of this logo is inspired by the faceted nature of their logo, combined with the connectivity of the conference and the history of rural NC barn quilts.

This logo was created for the 2017 Rural Day event and, as an evergreen event logo, is also being used again in 2018.
